Serving our Veterans

SERVPRO of Northeast Delta Lands brings football to our local Veterans Home. Tents, football players, cheerleaders and band are all onsite to help the Hero's of our country celebrate. On October 13, 2017 we had our 3rd annual VA Tailgating. This year we incorporated some extra help from some other local businesses and hope to build on this next year.
The people of the United States have a tradition that those who served our country in the armed forces, especially in time of war, shall receive consideration and care when they are in need. The Mississippi Veterans Affairs Board is extending this special kind of care through a partnership with the VA.
We salute these efforts and hope our event helps, even if in a small way, to honor and support our Veterans.
Christmas Parades

We are very fortunate to have as many small towns as we do in our area. These towns bring a level of community that most places do not understand or or appreciate. This Christmas season we have had the pleasure of being a part of 4 different Christmas Parades. These were located in Starkville, Carthage, Philadelphia and Kosciusko. Our staff came together with some great ideas about decorating vehicles. As small as this seems to some, the impact of being a part of the community has great impact for business. Most individuals would like to see local business succeed. Being involved in these community events lets our potential clients know we are a part of the community. This is something we are proud to say we are a part of, and will continue to strive toward.
BOO FEST

The 2017 Boo Fest, Games, activities, candy in downtown Kosciusko. Activities, games, booths along Madison Street on the square, courtesy of our local businesses and community organizations. SERVPRO of Northeast Delta Lands participated. We got very creative this year and made our candy bowl out of an air mover it turned out great. The Office Manager dressed as one of our Hometown Heroes and gave away over 2000 pieces of candy. The smiles on the faces of the children were what really makes this event a success for our community. Kosciusko put a wrap on October Tuesday evening with the annual safety parade on the downtown square. This event is always a safe way for the children of our community to have a safe and fun Halloween.

Our Christmas Sleigh
Christmas is always a fun time of year for our staff and communities. SERVPRO of Northeast Delta Lands is ready for the holidays and was more than happy to participate in the Kosciusko Christmas Parade and the Carthage Christmas parade. Our staff worked hard on decorating our new Fire/water wrap truck with a Lighted Christmas tree, lighted wreaths, Santa hats and more. The high top van in Carthage was a big hit with the children and our staff had a great time getting everything ready. We love to show our Christmas Spirit and support our local Chamber of Commerces, Main Streets and Development organizations. Everyone in our SERVPRO family would like to wish everyone in your family a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Safety Parade on Court Square
SERVPRO of Northeast Delta Land participated in the Safety Parade on our Court Square. We were represented with our Hometown Heroes, Stormy and Blaze, who were on hand to help hand out candy, coloring sheets and informative information about fire safety. This event is a wonderful addition to our downtown in the fall of the year. It's a safe environment for our community children to "Trick or Treat", learn from the interactive booths set up and play lots of games. This event is hosted by our local MainsStreet, downtown merchants and the City of Kosciusko. The children had a great time and so did we. Below are safety tips:
- Cross the street at corners, using traffic signals and crosswalks.
- Look left, right and left again when crossing and keep looking as you cross.
- Put electronic devices down and keep heads up and walk, don’t run, across the street.
- Teach children to make eye contact with drivers before crossing in front of them.
- Always walk on sidewalks or paths. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic as far to
the left as possible. Children should walk on direct routes with the fewest street crossings.
- Watch for cars that are turning or backing up. Teach children to never dart out into the street or cross between parked cars.
